Chalice and its paten in solid silver, very probably Belgian work, circa 1930. This chalice in neo-Romanesque style was made during the Art-Deco period, as evidenced by the stylized organization of the vine and wheat patterns that decorate the cup. The base is ornate of the Cross and the Tetramorph. The cup is decorated with angel heads and the paten is engraved with the letters “IHS” and the same stylized patterns as on the cup depicting the vine and wheat. Perfect condition, inside of the cup and of the paten re-gilded, sold without transport case. Dimensions: height 7,4 inch, diameter of the cup 5,31 inch, diameter of the paten 6,3 inch. Weight: 823 grams.
