Neo-Gothic style chalice and its paten in solid gilt silver by Léon Kaeppler, Paris 1882 - end of the 19th century. The hexafoiled base is bordered by a frieze of pearls, above, the Cross is adorned with turquoises stones and three enamels representing the arms of the Passion, two garnet stones decorate the center of the flowers. The node is organized in six engraved flowers, the openwork cup is ornate of three diamond-shaped enamels, the latter being decorated with water leaves and flowers. The paten is engraved with the Chrism with the Alpha and the Omega on both sides. Perfect condition, paten re-gilded, sold with a transport case. Dimensions: height 9,06 inch, diameter of the cup 3,58 inch, diameter of the paten 5,16 inch. Weight: 498 grams.
