Ciborium in solid gilt silver by Antoine Jolivet, Paris 1857 around 1880. Exceptional neo-Gothic style model adorned with sixteen enamelled medallions, false filigree on its whole, sixteen cabochon glasses and four cut glasses in closed setting. Of a certain weight, this ciborium is inspired by the famous model made by Placide Poussielgue-Rusand for the coronation of Monseigneur de Dreux-Brézé. Perfect condition, sold in its transport box. Dimensions: height 13,78 inch, diameter of the cup 4,76 inch. Weight: 1236 grams.
