Monstrance in bronze and gilded brass, lunula in solid silver by Jean Brigaux, Paris around 1840. The base of the monstrance rests on four claw feet, on the front side we find the Agnus-Dei resting on the book with the seven seals, on the back the Tetragrammaton, and on each side, either wheat or vine motifs. An angel acts as a handhold and points with his right index finger to the sunburst of the monstrance. This last one is decorated with six angel heads in a cloud. Perfect condition, well re-chiseled quality cast iron, very beautiful gilding, note the choice of pink gold for the sunburst rays to contrast with the yellow gold of the rest of the piece, sold in its box of transport. Dimensions: height 26,77 inch, width 13,78 inch, diameter of the lunula 2,09 inch. Gross weight: 3740 grams.
