Ciborium in solid gilt silver by Edmond-François Lethimonnier, Paris 1858 circa 1880. This rare model in the neo-Gothic style is richly decorated with champlevé enamels and fine stones. The wide range of enamel colors is a good illustration of aesthetic creativity. The cup is engraved with the inscription “HOC EST ENIM CORPUS MEUM”. Numerous lacks of enamel on the cup, small lacks of enamel on the base and on the lid, a split to one fine stone otherwise in perfect condition, sold in a transport box. Dimensions: height 10,63 inch, diameter of the cup 4,45 inch. Weight: 882 grams.
