Cruets set and its altar bell in solid gilt silver by Alexandre Thierry, Paris 1823-1838. Rare neoclassical style set of beautiful craftsmanship, offering a magnificent gilding. The tray, bordered by a oves frieze, is decorated with patterns of reeds and vines, like the cruets. These one, in a form inspired by ancient Greek vases, are adorned with a frieze of flowers typical of 17th century French ornamentation. An angel finishes the grip of hand and a sculpture in round work on the lid distinguishes water by a shell and wine by a bunch of grapes. The bell offers a beautiful sound. Small shocks without incidence, otherwise perfect condition, sold with their transport case in average condition. Dimensions: Height of the burettes 6,65 inch, tray 11,73 inch / 7,36 inch, height of the bell 3,74 inch, diameter 2,17 inch. Net weight: 1063 grams.
